Recent Developments

DeWalt announced POWER DETECT Technology on March 2, 2020. This new technology will be available only to four new tools. These tools, called the 20V MAX* XR Brushless Tools, include a 7-1/4 inch Circular Saw, Reciprocating Saw, 5 inch Angle Grinder, and a Hammer Drill.

The POWER DETECT Technology is a newly developed electronic for these tools that will identify the battery power each tool is paired with and then adjust output accordingly. This technology gives longevity and expansion to the safer alternative of a cordless job site.
